From the 1950s German architect and author Herta-Maria Witzemann has steadily gained international recognition, being regarded one of the most influential interior designers.
The president and later honorary president of the BDIA won the most prestigious awards Germany has to offer.
Witzemann is best known for her 'Notwohnungen Porsche', the Stuttgart
Fernsehturm, and the reconstruction of the historical Wilhelmspalais in
Stuttgart.
Herta-Maria Witzemann died 1999 in Ludwigsburg.
